Fitness Clubs Thrive

Fitness clubs are packed at this time of the year. It's just one of those cultural patterns that repeats, year in, year out, rain or sun.

By next month, the numbers will have thinned. You'll be able to get on the apparatus or into the classes you really wanted in the first place.

Why? Because people are people. And instant gratification is king.

The New Year Resolutions rarely last beyond a month - if they make it past the first week.

What are you going to do to ensure that yours do?

Here's a platinum tip. Don't try anything new.

What I mean by that is - whatever you decide to change, make it an alternative to something you're already doing.

For example, use the stairs instead of the elevator, ride a bike to work instead of taking the bus, walk to the shops instead of driving the car ...

The point is - your habitual needs will win out. You will still go to work, go shopping, go above ground level.

Your choice is simply HOW you'll do it. Not whether you'll exercise.

Try it. I think you'll be delighted with your fitness levels as the year rolls on ...
