Brown Paper Pampering?
I've been keeping my eye on a day spa that opened near where I live recently.
Lots of mystique and curiosity while it was being shop-fitted, lots of delays to pique the interest, lots of wondering ...
But now it's open. And it's the plainest, most brown-paper-wrapping hole in the wall you could ever hope to see.
The black plastic hiding the building work was far more intriquing.
Why? Is this some new fashion? The 'anti-pampering pampering'?
Sure has no attraction to me. Even the one customer I saw sitting in the goldfish bowl waiting room looked about to nod off - or expire.
Any thoughts?
