In Asia, the Eyelids Have It!
One of the most popular plastic surgery procedures among Asian women in both Asia and America appears to be something called Asian Blepharoplasty, or the double eyelid procedure.
What it does is create an upper eyelid fold, or a crease, because (unlike other ethnicities} about half of all Asians have just a single eyelid.
The beauty of this procedure is that it allows people to enchance their beauty and maintain their ethnic identity. It doesn't make them appear more “Western” or “American”.
Result? It can make the person appear more refreshed and less stoic.
Having the eye fold apparently also makes it easier to apply makeup.
